Vizago, founded in 2010, is a spin-off from the University of Basel, Switzerland. We provide commercial applications and services based on a University-licensed technology called Morphable Face Model.
Matthias Amberg obtained his M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2010 from
the University of Basel. From 2002-2004 he worked as a Sales & Marketing Assistant at Hiware AG (since acquired by Motorola),
a software company that provided compiler for embedded devices, and as a multimedia developer at Nothing Medialab (nothing.ch)
Dr. Reinhard Knothe
Reinhard Knothe studied computer science in Freiburg,
Germany, and subsequently obtained his PhD at the University of Basel,
Switzerland. From 2004-2009 he researched the technology that now
forms the core of Vizago's offerings.
